 CHAPTER 2 (Continued)

     1524 BC – Hatshepsut

That the young Co-regent Tuthmosis would turn traitor to them was appalling. In fact, Hatshepsut had appointed her stepson the Commander-in-Chief of Kemet’s armed forces. Besides, Senenmut himself had taken Tuthmosis on his military tours and trade missions to Ta-Seti and other neighboring regions.

Tuthmosis, who was now 21 years old, had so far appeared satisfied with his role as the Co-regent and Military Commander. However, under this facade, he must have nurtured hatred for his stepmother, and him by believing that they had usurped him.

Hatshepsut and he were aware of some court officials and in particular the powerful Amun-Ra clergy who resented her role of female Pharaoh. They considered it as a humiliation and blasphemy to the male god Amun-Ra. Only the male Pharaohs could take the mantle of "son of Amun-Ra."

From another perspective, Hatshepsut was nursing the secret ambition to appoint him the next-in-line Co-regent overriding Tuthmosis. Their daughter Neferure would have continued the bloodline. It was an irreparable loss to them that their beloved Neferure did not long live long, but died in her sixteenth year.

During Hatshepsut’s reign as Queen Pharaoh with Senenmut as her Chief Vizier, together they had accomplished a great deal. Kemet had grown rich and prosperous. Peace prevailed in the region. The common populace accepted what came to them. The Pharaohs were kings representing the god Amun-Ra. People feared and revered them as gods on earth. Therefore, the real opposition would come from the influential Amun-Ra priests supporting Tuthmosis, himself a high priest. It was common knowledge that the Amun-Ra priesthood in fact ruled Kemet behind the Pharaohs.

What a disastrous failing that neither he nor Hatshepsut sensed the rising undercurrent of rebellion from Tuthmosis. They had all along taken him for granted while he sowed the seeds of dissent to take roots.

Senenmut wondered whether he would ever know the precise reasons and circumstances that caused Tuthmosis to dethrone Queen Hatshepsut during his absence.

The political situation at the Royal Court had appeared normal when Hatshepsut sent her Chief Steward Senenmut to quell the recent uprisings in Ta netjer. His familiarity with the region and diplomatic contacts prompted his departure.

Taking advantage of his absence from Kemet, the calculative Tuthmosis and the Amun-Ra priests had used the opportunity to dethrone the Queen Pharaoh.

GODFATHER of the Pakistan's ISI

GEO POWER POLITICS - Articles

Article:         The GODFATHER of Pakistan's ISI

One gets the impression from the general media coverage of the Pakistan’s military action against the Taliban and the various Islamic terror outfits, and behind the scene the covert role, however questionable, of its powerful intelligence arm, the ISI - the Inter-Service Intelligence Agency - that the Government of Pakistan and its spy agency, itself riddled with Islamic fundamentalists, are finally realizing that the State’s democratic future lies in redoubling its campaigns in the war against terrorism.

Despite all such outward appearances, there is hardly any attempt made to curb or get rid of the extremist sympathizers inside the government and the ISI. In fact, extremist leaders of the supposedly banned terror organizations are freely roaming the corridors of power and dictating the government policy, and further influencing and intimidating the judiciary. Today, the government of Pakistan has made a mockery of democracy.

There’s no doubt that Pakistan and the ISI have been destabilizing the peace in the subcontinent region.

Since many decades, the Pakistan government’s anti-India policy and its ISI’s sponsored Islamic militant insurgencies in Kashmir, in the garb of separatists, continue to be hell-bent in creating and sustaining terror in this Indian State.

After the Soviets pulled out of Afghanistan in 1989, the ISI wholeheartedly aided in the creation of the militant Jammu and Kashmir Hizbul Mujahideen, with the Pakistan armed forces lending a strong, active support to the terror operations by the insurgents crossing into India.

On December 2001, with ISI’s logistic, arms, training and financial support coming mainly from the illegal sources including drug-money, the trained militants from Lashkare-and Jaish-e-Muhammad groups, brazenly attacked the very sanctity of the Indian Parliament, and years later, on 26th of November 2008, the prominent locations in the financial hub of Mumbai, causing death and much international outcry. The masterminds of these terror operations are living openly in the Pakistani society being patronized by the state players and the intelligence agency.

Indian and foreign correspondents and officials have alleged that these covert ISI aided terror operations could not have been possible, though publicly decried by the USA government, without the latter’s silent nod or awareness.

Subsequent developments and the aftermath findings, following investigations and analysis of the events, the finger pointed in such a direction. Ultimately, what mattered was not the method or sources used, but maintaining the geopolitical goal and vested interests of the main player, the USA, in the region.

The international role of the ISI is primarily and predominantly dictated by its bigger counterpart - the USA's foreign policy and its State Department’s covert managers, the CIA.

While presenting to the world, Pakistan, as being USA’s important and active participant in fighting the world’s war on terror, this ally of the great power also actively helps to sponsor Jihadi and militant activists through CIA’s proxy outfits and front organizations (e.g. the infamous and now defunct Pakistani’s BCCI bank) around the world towards safeguarding the interests of the USA and its allies.

SATAN – The Personification of Evil

Christian Mysteries - Unveiled

Article: SATAN – The Personification of Evil

Since the most ancient of societies, Satan has evolved from the superstitious notion of the human mind which saw and created a need for a supernatural entity to bear the blame and as a curse for human failures. While on the other hand, the good entity of a supernatural God fights for their cause, receives their adoration and holds out a rewarding after-life. The faulting is either attributed to God as a punishment, a lesson or declared as the evil-doings of the Satan.  This mentality or mindset has gradually evolved into a theology for all religious belief-systems, ancient and present.

From the Christian perspective, the Satan or Devil has taken the blame for not only mankind’s evil and sufferings but also for imitating and promoting Christianity in the form of ancient pagan religions centuries before Jesus Christ.

Many mid-second century pagan theologians like Celsus and early Church Fathers, like Justin Martyr (145-149 A.D.)
Tertullian, (160-230 A.D.),  Origen (185-254 A.D.) Clement (died 110 A.D.), and Jerome (347-420 A.D.) were fiercely debating, same time acknowledging, the many similarities reported between Christianity and other pre-Christian pagan religions.

Justin Martyr, who said, “For when they say that Dionysus arose again and ascended to heaven, is it not evidence the devil has imitated the prophecy?” In his others works such as "The Demons Imitate Christian Doctrine," and 1 Apology, he reiterates "And when we say also that the Word, who is the first-born of God, was produced without sexual union, and that He, Jesus Christ, our Teacher, was crucified. and rose again, and ascended into heaven, we propound nothing different from what you believe regarding those whom you esteem sons of Jupiter. ... But as we have said above, wicked devils perpetrated these things  …

In the Old Testament books of Numbers and Job, Satan appears as a God’s dutiful servant or as messenger “Malek” in Hebrew, “Angelos” in Greek,  In Hebrew, Angels are known as “bene ‘elohim” which means “sons of God”, in a hierarchal rank formation -  a members of God's royal court. The Hebrew term Satan is not a character but describes an adversarial role.  (I Samuel 2 9:4, 11 Samuel, 1 9:2 2, 1 Kings S: 4, 14, 23, and 25.) Satan also acts as a prosecutor in Psalms 109:6-9, which says: “Give him over to wickedness, and let Satan stand at his right hand to accuse him,” also Zechariah 3 and in Job I and 2.

The Hebrew root “stn” means to oppose, obstruct.
