Book Description:

This is an epic Historical-Ancient Egyptian-Biblical fiction novel about the would-be Pharaoh forced into exile and torn apart from his beloved, who must struggle to avenge the injustice by challenging the might of his ruthless enemy and traitor, the Egyptian Pharaoh.

The narratives reveal the identity of the later Israelite leader. His achievements, failures and personal conflicts; his passionate love for the first royal woman in his life and his marriages to other women. How he set about compiling his new theocratic ideology based on the ancient cultures and traditions.

Besides the interesting disclosures about the belief system of the ancient Biblical Israelis, interwoven are sub-plots and events (including combat and battle scenes) relating to the intriguing characters, their personal and external conflicts, featuring in this epic narrative of the Egyptian-Biblical, Senenmut/Moses.

The epic "The Chronicles of Moses", moves between the ancient Egyptian history available from the writings of the New Kingdom, the 18th Dynasty of the Pharaohs reign, and the character of Moses in the Bible.

Systematic research and plotting have resulted in plausible, exploratory and action-filled events which serve to regale, enlighten and challenge readers to revelations before unknown.

Reviews:

"This novel is action packed, an historical style novel that takes the reader on a compelling journey. The pages are filled with intrigue, conflict, military action, individual combat, politics, and love; all of which are enhanced by descriptions of people and cultures." Robert Kruger, Author of The Children's Story, About Good and Evil.

"The story is full of vivid descriptions you can almost feel and experience the heat and the smells and sounds of the things going on. I enjoyed the maps that gave a good sense of where it all took place." Avid Reader

"A very unique and effective approach to the story of Moses. Paul Rodricks intertwines the story of Hatshepsut and Senenmut with that of Moses the deliverer of the Hebrews and the lawgiver. Because I like an original, conceptual approach to history I found it hard to put this book down. I read at night which helps me fall asleep, but in this task, the author failed. I found that The Chronicles of Moses kept me up late and thoroughly engaged. Woe is me! One big thing that gave the book depth was the obvious knowledge of the era (or period) and the geography." Richard Stiller, Author.

"This absorbing and attention-grabbing work had me riveted from the beginning. The story flows from scene to scene effortlessly and the author shows exceptional ability when it comes to story telling. It's one of those rare stories that come along and makes you want to read it non-stop until you get to the end. I'm giving nothing away here. And this, I hope, will only add to the mystery!" Piaras, Poet & Author.
